Northwind Hub is the control room for a regional logistics team. Dispatchers watch live vehicle positions, assign jobs, and replay the last 48 hours of activity to debug routing issues.
The problem
Dispatchers were toggling between a mapping app, a spreadsheet, and a group chat. Context switches were the single biggest cause of missed pickups.
What I built
A single surface that merges the live map, the job queue, and team chat, backed by a Redis stream and a slim WebSocket fanout service. State survives reconnects cleanly.
Outcome
Missed pickups fell by around a third in the first quarter, and the team retired two standalone tools.
